Mission Statement:

Stomping Ground Ventures, Inc., a 501(c)(3) based in Wilson County, Texas, is dedicated to building an inclusive, sustainable community where adults with intellectual and developmental differences can live, work, and thrive. We provide meaningful employment, and engaging social opportunities that promote independence, purpose, and connection.  Through compassion, collaboration, and respect, our mission is to empower individuals of all abilities to reach their full potential while enriching the broader community through inclusion and shared growth.

At Stomping Ground Ventures, we’re building more than a place—we’re creating a movement. Rooted in rural Wilson County, Texas, our mission is to empower adults with intellectual and developmental differences (IDD) to live, work, and thrive with dignity, purpose, and belonging.

We’re reimagining what inclusive living looks like through a unique blend of community-based day services, micro-enterprise development, and nature-inspired programs. From hands-on farm experiences and artisan workshops to job training and supported employment, everything we do is designed to foster independence, connection, and economic opportunity.

Founded by a parent and healthcare professional who saw the lack of services firsthand, Stomping Ground Ventures exists to fill the gap—creating a welcoming, home-like environment where adults with IDD are seen, valued, and supported every step of the way.
